Ace director who turned global with Endhiran is all set to start the remake version of ‘3 Idiots’ both in Telugu and Tamil. The film will kick the floors from December 6th in Chennai.

Coming to the star cast Vijay in Tamil and Mahesh Babu in Telugu are playing the role of Aamir Khan. The female lead is Ileana for both the versions. Recently Sathyaraj has been roped up for the role of Bomman Irani who played the original.

Shankar approached Siddharth, for Sharman Joshy’s character but the actor rejected to do. Now the director is seriously hunting for the other two idiots. There is a chance of Jiiva doing the role of Madhavan in the original.

Shankar also tried for Aarya but as he can’t adjust his dates he refused to do. The latest buzz is that Srikanth is in lead while the director rejected the offer to Ganesh Venkatram and Nakul who are in the race.

Besides all these recently, Ileana took her flight to Chennai on Tuesday for the script discussion with Shankar. The actress is very much impressed with the script and her character in the film.
