Vijay is currently shooting for his 51st movie Kaavalan, which would be a remake of Malayalam movie, Bodyguard, directed by Siddiq, who had directed the original version as well.

The latest update is that, the movie is right now being shot in Valsaravakkam Chennai for past 15 days. And the shooting will continue till 17th of this month after that kaavalan crew moving to kerala to shoot some important scene It will take place 10 days . The shooting of Kaavalan will get over by October and the movie is trying to be released for Diwali.
