Vijay to share screen with Udhayanithi?

Gemini Films seems to have obtained the Tamil remake rights of the cult hit 3 Idiots, right after the Telugu remake rights were obtained by Pawan Kalyan. Producers at Gemini Films are contemplating on casting Vijay for the movie. While sources say that Vijay is keen on working for the project, no confirmation from the actor's side has been received by the producers.
Besides, Udhayanidhi is also under consideration for one of the lead roles in 3 Idiots, we hear. The producer is in the radar of many directors and producers in equal measure and the fact that he said he's not interested in starring in regular masala flicks makes it favorable for him to take a decision about 3 Idiots.
3 Idiots is the highest grossing Hindi film in Tamil Nadu, where it has managed to gross a record Rs. 1.65 crore from 22 screens in its very first week. Nation-wde, the film is said to have grossed about Rs. 240 crores in just 10 days.
