Vijay Fanz Network - Canada

The reputed cameraman N K Ekambaram will continue to work with Vijay as he has been signed to capture Vijay’s next film which is the remake of Malayalam hit ‘Bodyguard’. Ekambaram stepped into Vijay’s 50th film ‘Sura’ after M S Prabhu walked out of the film midway.

The remake of ‘Bodyguard’ is being produced by the banner which made ‘Priyamanavale’ in Vijay-Simran combination earlier. The director is Siddique.

Asin plays the heroine role played by Nayantara in the original. Rajkiran plays the heroine’s father role which was played by Thyagarajan in Malayalam. Music is by Vidyasagar. Yugabharathi who was to write all the five songs for the film is now writing only three songs. Other two songs are written by Pa. Vijay and Viveka.
