Asin and Vijay had been camping in Thiruvidaimarudur, Kumbakonam for the Siddique-directed Kaavalkaran. The shooting of this film began a few days ago and it was said that the unit intends to camp in that area to can some important scenes.

Now, the unit has shifted to Karaikudi. Enquiries reveal that important love sequences are to be shot in some of the exotic locations there. Further, the Karaikudi architecture is very famous and the director has plans to shoot some scenes in some of the palatial houses over there.

பாலிவுட்டில் சக்கை போடு போட்ட த்ரி இடியட்ஸ் படத்தை தமிழில் ரீமேக்கப் போகிறார்கள். இதில் நடிக்க முதலில் ஓகே சொன்னவர் சிறிது காலமாக 'அடிதடி, ஆக்ஷன்' மீது மட்டுமே நம்பிக்கை வைத்திருக்கிற விஜய்.

Sura, Vijay’s 50th film, is expected to be released on April 23rd. The date release has not been announced officially as yet because the team is waiting to have it censored before announcing the date.

Sura has garnered enough attention because it happens to be Ilayathalapthi’s 50th film. And one more reason is that the distribution rights have been acquired by Sun Pictures, which means enough publicity and surefire success at the box office. Sura is directed SP Rajkumar, who has left no stone unturned to make it an out-and-out commercial entertainer to satisfy Vijay’s fans.

The movie has Tamannah pairing up with Vijay. Vadivelu is in charge of the comedy. The music tracks, which were released recently, have already turned out to be a great success.

Asin makes her return to Tamil Cinema with Bodyguard. The film is expected to start shooting in April 1st and finish with two months.Vijay is also simultaneously working on a movie with Jayam Raja. S.P. Rajkumar and Vijay have stated that this will be his last mass masala movie because after this he is planning to act only in movies with good storylines and has realized it is time for change in tamil cinema! S.A. Chandrashekar, Vijay's father had also stated earlier in an interview with journalists that Vijay will be heading on a new route this year and accepted that his son had been following the commercial formula for quite some time but said that from this year onwards Vijay's aim will be to target awards! Sura audio is supposed to release on March 29th and the film will most likely release in April for tamil new years.

வழக்கமாக விஜய் படங்களில் குத்து பாடலுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் இருக்கும். இதில் அது இல்லை. ஒரே ஒரு குத்து பாடல்தான். மற்ற அனைத்து பாடல்களிலுமே மெலடிதான் தலைகாட்டும். வழக்கமாக அவர் படங்களில் இருக்கும் ஓப்பனிங் பாடலும் இல்லை. அதற்கு பதிலாக, ‘வெற்றிக்கொடி ஏத்து’ என்ற பாடல் உள்ளது. தீம் பாடலாக ‘தமிழன், வீர தமிழன்’ என்ற பாடலும் உள்ளது. இந்த இரண்டிலும் கூட மெலடி வாசம் அதிகமாக இருக்கும்.

இந்த மாற்றத்துக்கு காரணம்?


சினிமாவில் மாற்றத்தை ரசிகர்கள் எப்போதும் விரும்புவார்கள். இது போல வித்தியாசமான வகையில் இசையை தந்தால்தான் ரசிகர்களுக்கு பிடிக்கும். இது போல மாற்றத்துக்கு விஜய்யும் இயக்குனர் எஸ்.பி.ராஜகுமாரும்தான் காரணம்.

பின்னணி இசை


படத்தில் பல சுவையான, சுவாரஸ்யமான காட்சிகள் வருகின்றன. அதற்கேற்ப பின்னணி இசை இருக்கும். விஜய்யின் ஒவ்வொரு படத்துக்கு பின்னணி இசை அமைக்கும்போதும் அவர் என் ஸ்டுடியோவுக்கு வருவார். இந்த படத்துக்கும் வந்தார். பின்னணி இசையை கேட்டவர், என்னை கட்டித் தழுவி பாராட்டினார்.

Ameer believes in breaking jinxes and he has done so in every film of his, beginning with Mounam Paesiyadhae and Raam, till his most recent success Paruthi Veeran. The director is currently busy with his upcoming flick Adhibagavan, starring Jayam Ravi. Meanwhile, the filmmaker has expressed his strong desire to do a film with Vijay.

Speaking at a film function recently, Ameer said that after Mounam Paesiyadhae, he had approached Vijay with a story line, but it the project did not take off. Reportedly Vijay's father has approved of a new project so it looks like the director's dream will soon come true.

The shooting of the much expected film that features Vijay starts today. The remake of the Malayalam super hit Bodyguard will go on floors today at Kumbakonam. The title of the film has been put off so far and now the team has come up with a title and it is none other than yesteryears blockbuster film of MGR, Kaavalkaaran. This will be the second time that Vijay will act in a film that has MGR’s film title, the first being Vettaikaran.

The film will be directed by Siddique and the Kollywood lucky pair Vijay and Asin who is considered a hit combination will once again be paired in this film.

Sundar C-starrers Vaada and Guru Sishyan are to be released on April 16th. While Vaada is directed by A Venkatesh, Shakthi Chidambaram has wielded the megaphone for Guru SIshyan. Guru Sishyan also stars Sathyaraj and has Hemamalini as the heroine. Dheena has scored music for this film and it is produced by Radha Shakthi Chidambaram.

Interestingly, A Venkatesh’s another venture, Maanja Velu, will also hit the screens on the same day. Arun Vijay plays the lead role in film.

There seems to be rush to release the films on April 16th, as we hear Vijay’s Sura will hit the marquee the week next.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 50th film Sura will soon be ready for release. This film is being produced by Sangili Murugan and directed by S P Rajkumar. As per the buzz in the industry, Sura will revolve around the lives of fishermen. The audio release of Sura was recently held at Lady Andal School in Chennai. Mani Sharma has composed music for Sura and there is a general positive feel about the same all over.

There are a total of six tracks in Sura for which the lyrics are penned by Na Muthukumar, Vaali, S P Raajakumar, Kabilan and Snehan. There is a particular song Vanga Kadal Ellai written by Kabilan and sung by Naveen along with Malathi Lakshmanan. This particular song required a low pitch but Malathy who is known for her rendition in high pitch had changed her style and crooned as per the need of the song. Although Malathi, who shot to fame with her Manmada Raasa, was initially skeptical to accept this song but was convinced by none other than Vijay himself who predicted that the new style would render Malathi additional fame. True to his words, Malathi has been receiving appreciation from everyone for this number and she is one happy person, thanks to Vijay.

After discovering new stories can’t be believed, ilayathalapathy Vijay is becoming the king of remakes. Vijay will play the role of Rancho in the Tamil remake of Rajkumar Hirani directed 3 Idiots. Compared to Ajith, Vikram and Surya, Vijay looks cool and young to play the role of Phunsukh Wangdu (Aamir Khan) in Tamil.

Directors Vishnuvardhan and Dharani was rumoured to control the set. Vishnuvardhan is now busy with Telugu film with Allu Arjun and Ram.

Ratnavelu will handle the camera and music will be made by Vijay Antony.

The original Shantanu Moitra music with hits like Aal Izz Well and Zoobie Doobie will be maintained.

To play the role of Viru Sahastrabudhhe or Virus, Sathyaraj and Prakash Raj are in the list. Virus was originally played by Bomman Irani. Jiiva will act in the role of Raju, played by Sharman Joshi. The actor for Farhan’s role played by Madhavan in the original is not yet fixed. Rumors are the act will be done by an upcoming star, Udayanidhi and Simbu. Simbu refused to do the role.

Uncertainty remains in Kareena’s role. The names making the rounds are Sruthi Hassan and Asin. Asin who made it to stardom with remakes probably may procure the role.

As Madhavan has delivered some flops, he wanted to take break and concentrate on Hindi for a while. But he will be making a comeback with Kamal Haasan’s next venture. Madhavan was offered the role in the remake but he refused it as he has given his heart and soul to the Hindi version and repeating that will not be challenging and won’t give artistic satisfaction.

The fact that Tamil Nadu has the maximum number of engineering colleges in the private sector in India may provide oomph for the remake.

Gemini Film Circuit has bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of 3 Idiots from Vidhu Vinodh Chopra. They are the people who re imagined Telugu hit Arya as Kutty in Tamil and had earlier remade Sanjay Dutt’s Munnabhai MBBS to super hit Vasool Raja MBBS with Kamal Haasan.

Vijay has to complete Siddique’s Bodyguard remake and Jayam Raja’s film for Oscar Ravichandran. Jayam Raja is known to make hit remakes.

Director Siddique is on the look out for a suitable Tamil title for his Vijay-starrer. It is well-known that Siddique and the Ilayathalapathy are joining once again for the remake of the blockbuster Malayalam film Bodyguard. The shooting of this film begins during April first week.

Speaking about this untitled film, Siddique says that it would be quite different from the original version keeping in tune with the fans’ expectations. Its time for all our Vijay fans to enjoy as the songs of the most expected film this summer, SURA are released amidst a grand function held at chennai.There are totally six tracks and all of them being composed by MANI SHARMA whose combination with Vijay has always been a great success with Pokkiri being their last movie together. Now this time, Manisharma has come out with some refreshing tunes for SURA and songs are already said to be good and foot tapping on their first hearing itself.

1.Vetrikodi Yethu.....

This seems to be the opening song of the movie and this number is quite different from the usual opening song in a Vijay movie.The song speaks about hero's attitude towards life and the society and Vaali has written the lyrics and Ranjith has rendered his voice for this one.The tune is very catchy and being the intro song, its for sure that this number is going to get more attention when seen with visuals.

2.Thanjavoor Jillakkari.....

Its another youthful number from Manisharma.Hemachandra and Saindhavi add that essential pep in this duet.Although the tune reminds you of the songs composed by Manisharma earlier, the chorus and the humming inbetween will always stay forever and this song will definitely match with Vijay s dancing talent.

3.Vanga kadal Ellai.....

This is a fast paced kuthu song which is a part and parcel of all recent Vijay movies.Song is sung by Naveen and Maladhi Lakshmanan and Lyrics are written by Kabilan in such a way suiting Vijay s mass image with folk beats and interludes in-between.This is yet another song which will keep the fans dancing on floor.
for its heavy beats and dance movements of Vijay.

4.Siragadikkum Nilavu.....

This one a melodious song sung by Karthik and Reeta.The tune is very simple and symbolises the love between the lead pair.The lyrics are written by Snehan.This song is being shot at exotic locales and is sure to be a visual treat for all Vijay fans.

5.Thamizhan Veera Thamizhan....

This song is a catchy one with some good humming and percussions being used and Rahul Nambiar's voice adds energy to this song.This song will mostly be added up as the background score of the movie.

6.Naan Nadanthal Adhiradi....

This seems to be the pick of the album and is sung by Naveen, Janani and Vijay's mother Shoba Chandrasekar. This is another hit tune composed by Manisharma who has effectively used in this album as well.Lyrics are written by Kabilan and it talks about the praising of hero.With excellent beats and string work, the song is sure to be the pick of the album among the audiences. Ofcourse Vijay s dance will add up to a great extent as well.

Although the tunes resemble some of the songs composed earlier by Manisharma himself, the songs seems to be refreshing and is sure to be liked on repeated hearing. And Vijay s screen presence and dance is sure to add a great appeal to all the songs.Manisharma s success continues with Sura as well.So its time for us to dance to the rocking songs of Sura this summer.
