Vijay the crazy hero of kollywood upcoming film ‘Kavalan’ distribution rights were bagged by Shakthi Chidambaram who runs Cinema Paradise a production house.

Recently the overseas distribution rights were acquired by Tantra films, at a greater price than regular. In the foot steps of the overseas market, the domestic rights were also sold at a higher price. ‘Kavalan’ is attracting the buyers as it carries many facets mainly the casting of the film, besides being the remake of Malayalam hit ‘Bodyguard’. Not only these the film brings back the combination of Vijay and Siddique after 9 Years.

On the film, Vijay says, “It will have action, romance and humour at right mix. I admire director Siddique, who has a firm grip on the story. It is not a raw action film as the title would suggest. Like my past movies, there would be romance in it. Asin has done her best. Vadivelu will bring the roof down with laughter”.
