In the recent controversy over Ajith and artiste privacy issue Ajith has got support from an unexpected colleague. Though he is considered a professional rival to Ajith, Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay has come out in support of Ajith our sources reveal. Vijay has reportedly tal...ked to V C Guhanathan for Ajith. What did he speak? Vijay had apparently said to FEFSI President “Ajith is an open book and he never speaks anything with hidden motives. He always speaks from his heart. The non-issue was blown out of proportion only by media”. Vijay also has requested V C Guhanathan to let the issue go and not take any further actions by FEFSI. Meanwhile, some other reports say, even the chief minister did not like the idea of issuing “red cards” to Rajini and Ajith. Reports also said the meeting of Ajith with the CM was cordial and the CM listened to Ajith’s point of view in the whole episode with concern.

Vijay is wrapping up his 50th film ‘Sura’ soon and will immediately start his next. There were enough speculations as to who will direct Vijay after ‘Sura’. There were three names of prominent directors doing the rounds. ‘Jayam’ Raja had already narrated a story to Vija...y and was ready to roll. Another one was Siddique who influenced Vijay for a remake of his recent super hit in Malayalam ‘Bodyguard’. Siddique was the one who gave the evergreen comedy hit ‘Friends’ for Vijay. Meanwhile director Lingusamy was also in the fray. Now the murk is settling and things are clear. Lingusamy is doing a film with Silambarasan and so he may not have the dates for Vijay. Vijay is so impressed with ‘Bodyguard’ and wants to do the Tamil remake as quickly as possible. So where does that leave ‘Jayam’ Raja. Raja says “It’s for sure that I am doing a film with Vijay for Aascar Films. But it has not been decided whether that will be immediately after ‘Sura’ or otherwise.” So it is doubly confirmed that Vijay will act under the baton of Raja.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently busy with shooting for his upcoming SURA.Shooting which was going at a rapid speed near Thoothukudi is over and now the team has moved to Pondichery where they will be shooting a few scenes and shoot is said to go on for a week after which the Sura unit will be moving to U.S in March 1st Week .where an song involving Vijay and Tamanna will be shot.

This song will be shot at exotic locales and is all said to showcase Vijay with some new styles which his fans had never seen before.

With all this in place, latest news from our reliable sources that Vijay has agreed to the remake of Malayalam movie BODYGUARD and shooting will start after April and this could probably be the 52nd movie since JeyamRaja has already been fixed up to direct Vijay s next movie after Sura.

Sources say that Vijay has expressed his interest in acting in the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ starring Aamir Khan. Vijay has apparently shown much interest in the remake in Ta...mil, which will be directed by ‘Billa’ director Vishnuvardhan. Sources say that Vijay would do Aamir's role in the movie. Vishnu has been having a bad outing ever since his ‘Sarvam’ starring Arya and Trisha bombed at the box office. He would hope to revive his record with the remake of ‘3 Idiots’. Sources say that Vishnu will modify the subject according to tastes of the Tamil audience. Sources reveal that the Tamil remake rights of ‘3 Idiots’ have been bought by Gemini Film Circuit, who have remade many hit movies in the past, including 'Vasool Raja', the remake of ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’. But news is that if JeyamRaja directs the 51st movie , then Siddiq will be the director of the 52nd movie and vice-versa and ofcourse as said above Vijay will be shooting for both the movies simultaneously.And the one which is directed by siddiq is sure to be the remake of the bodyguard movie and the offer is also acceped by Vijay.

“Ilaya Thalapathi” Vijay has made a name for himself doing remakes of Telugu hits. Interestingly one of his Tamil films is ready to be dubbed in Telugu for the Andhra audience. Vijay-Trisha starrer 'Kuruvi' will hit the screens in Andhra Pradesh soon. The Telugu versio...n has been titled 'Dopidi'. The Telugu rights have been acquired by popular distributor B Satyanarayana. "I am entering into production for the first time. The film 'Kuruvi' directed by Dharani will be an ideal launch pad for my production house" says Satyanarayana. Satyanarayana is banking on three persons apart from Vijay. They are Trisha, Suman and Malavika, who are very popular in Tollywood.

Asin, who moved to Bollywood in 2008, is likely to make a comeback to Tamil cinema this year. She has reportedly been signed for the Vijay's movie which is the remake of Malayalam hit 'Bodyguard' starring Dileep and Nayantara. Sivaraju Venkatraju, who last made 'Priyma...navale' with Vijay in 2000 will produce this new film. Siddique who directed the original will direct the Tamil version also. Siddique and Vijay combination earlier rocked in the comedy riot ‘Friends’. For Asin this film is a sort of comeback to Tamil. After her first Hindi film ‘Ghajini’ with Aamir Khan becoming super hit, her next film ‘London Dreams’ with Salman Khan bombed. So she is desperate to keep her top star status and image intact. But of course Asin never said she will not do a Tamil film after moving to Bollywood. Asin and Vijay pair was very successful with films like 'Pokkiri' and 'Sivakasi' doing wonders at the box office. Meanwhile, Vijay's 50th film 'Sura' is nearing completion and plans are on to release it this April.

With Vijay shifting his focus on the remake of Bodyguard (likely to be his 51st film), his project with Jayam Raja, might be put on cold storage for the time being. After the super success of Nadodigal, producer Michael Rayappan is up and running with his next project. This untitled project, which went on floors recently, will be directed by Vijay Prakash with Aadhi playing the lead.
